Where can you use the Travelcard?

The travelcard allows you unlimited travel across all transport networks in Barcelona

✔ Regional train (Rodalies de Catalunya, Zone 1)

The metro runs from 5.00 am until midnight (Mon-Thu, Sun) and until 2am on Fridays, and 24hours on Saturdays. Bus timetables vary according to the type of day: weekday, Saturday or public holiday. Your Hola BCN! Travelcard will also cover journeys on the NitBus which runs throughout the night.

How do you activate the Travelcard?

Upon boarding your mode of transport, make sure you scan your card to enter, or show it to the conductor. Your card will become activated upon first use on a mode of transport and will be valid for 48 or 72 consecutive hours thereafter.

TOP TIP:If you use your travelcard to get into the city from the airport, note that this will activate the travelcard. We would recommend you plan your usage carefully and use it first thing in the morning to make the most of your pass duration.
